Popular dance forms are like- jo get, zapin and asli etc. Jo-get A lively dance with fast-paced rhythm that originated in Malacca in the 16th century. It's often performed at weddings and festivals, and is accompanied by a violin, gong, flute, rebana, and gendang. Zapin A dance that combines Islamic teachings with elegant body movements. It's performed to the tunes of the Rebana, Dok, Marwas, Rebab, Gambus, and accordion. Asli A slow-paced dance with intricate, well-defined movements and poses.
